House Plant Project

This personal study project was created in collaboration with the Illinois State University Horticulture Center to explore the visual and educational possibilities of houseplant care. I researched 14 common houseplants, studying their unique characteristics, care requirements, and levels of difficulty before illustrating each plant by hand. The illustrations were then developed into a cohesive collection of print materials, including a full deck of cards, informational booklet, sticker set, and poster. The project allowed me to combine research, illustration, and information design while creating an approachable visual system that makes plant care both engaging and accessible.
